Voices of Solidarity is a charity music event whose main objective is to raise funds for a primary school in Rwanda. This small facility in the Kigali district is one of the few reference points for children living in the area and there is always a lot to do to keep it going. So year after year we try to support it in renovations such as the renewal of the water pipes, the purchase of doors, blackboards and benches and the refurbishment of the roof and courtyard.

The idea of the event was born in 2011 from the meeting between different realities: Helpyness, a non-profit organization for the development of projects of social utility, Double Dominant, a studio of musical productions, and Marina Manino, director of the Sunday Choir and teacher of choirs of the children of the elementary schools of Castiglione and Gassino Torinese. From their collaboration comes Voices of Solidarity, whose name refers to the deeper meaning of the project, namely the idea that thanks to music our children can help their more unfortunate African peers.

Our goal this year

The renovation of the courtyard

These jobs are particularly important because at this time it is very difficult for vehicles to reach the school and this hinders supplies and limits access.
